I totally believe in you and your work! ❤️✨ Throwing all the glittery hearts your way 💖

I get what you mean about saying "I believe in you!" because sometimes hearing that from the people we love the most is more precious than some acceptance into a show or gallery.

The whole process is so cold! I'm experienced enough to know that rejection is part of being an artist but I think organizations should reflect on how they manage the process. Some of these online submission platforms feel brutal: they took my money but couldn't bother to send a personalized email?

your work is so needed in the world. you are so talented. we should collect all our rejection letters and make a show of it! i'm sure that's been done. it's a nightmare to be seen by the few who have the power to give you more eyes.

Rejection is so hard. I love the painting of the woman ‘declined’ 💛

When I submitted my children’s novel I got a series of declines, it always hurts! 🙏🏻💛
