"Start a small artist peer support group on Discord. It’s become a key part of my personal and art life and I love how we show up for each other. I highly recommend you do the same."

LOVE THIS. I did the same via Zoom, and still figuring out how to make it feel less "up in the air" - I always feel like I need a "landing spot" for zoom discussions. Like, afterwards I want notes, and links, and to keep the conversation going.

We have Discord as our chat channel and meet every two weeks on Zoom to do a deeper dive into topics we’ve been chatting about. We always decide on a topic of discussion before the zoom call so we can think about it, research, and make some notes, so we turn up for each other well prepared. It works really well. Glad you have your own support network--it’s so important.

Oooh, I love that! Discord to Zoom. I usually base our Zoom calls off some of the posts I write, or I'll link to an article I found interesting, and we'll go from there.
