Thank you for sharing your decision on both text and speech. I find it lovely to listen instead of read for a change. Here’s to the book and more podcasts!
I haven’t listened yet but I am definitely there! I chose to move my big project to the back burner. It’s still there and I’m slowly moving it to YouTube while I keep my focus on the Substack publication. It was hard to do even that because I felt like a flake for going after the new shiny, but what I was doing also wasn’t sitting true for me any more, so I’m trying to see if scaling back will help.
REALLY enjoyed listening to you speak! And getting to know your journey more from pre-pandemic to post. The losses are real. I was just entering a more public facing work arrangement as well when the shut-down's happened. I'm okay with the shift though as it helped me re-prioritize and redirect. Sometimes loss can birth something even more aligned. But not always.

I hope scaling back does help you. It’s so hard to say a final goodbye, isn’t it? Best of luck and let me know how it goes x
So hard and it may end up being a project I walk away from but I will see how I feel about it a few months from now.

Yeah, sometimes a loss is just a loss. That’s part of the human experience x
